The actor’s strike is over and while that’s awesome news for all things Star Trek: The Cruise, it does also mean that Jonathan Frakes will no longer be able to join us for the 2024 cruise due to a filming conflict for Strange New Worlds (new episodes yay!). But we’re super excited to announce that he will join us on the 2025 cruise! Check out this message from Jonathan, and hear who he asked to take his place onboard this year!

Armin Shimerman is an actor and writer, a veteran of stage and screen widely known for his role as Quark for seven seasons on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Shimerman was the first actor to ever play a Ferengi on Star Trek, as Letek on the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “The Last Outpost.” He is one of only five Star Trek actors to appear in three different Star Trek series and we are excited to have him back onboard in 2024!

Fan favorite on Star Trek: The Cruise in 2023, he’s back onboard in 2024! Todd Stashwick is known for the role of Captain Liam Shaw on Star Trek: Picard, Deacon on 12 Monkeys and Dale Malloy on The Riches. His work also includes roles on the shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, The Originals and Gotham. He can be seen in the live action Kim Possible film as Dr. Drakken and in the series The Last Thing He Told Me.
